The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated further against the US Dollar in commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Feb 22), compared to Wednesday.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 306.22 to Rs. 305.48 and from Rs. 316.89 to Rs. 316.13, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has reduced from Rs. 305.76 to Rs. 305.01, while the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 315.75 to Rs. 315.
Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 307 to Rs. 306 and from Rs. 316 to Rs. 315, respectively. (NewsWire)
