The issuing of revenue licences for all vehicles registered in Sri Lanka will be implemented in the Central Province from September 01, the Central Province Transport Commissioner Parami Tannakoon stated.
Accordingly, vehicles with registrations in other provinces will be able to obtain revenue licences from all Divisional Secretariats in the Central Province.
According to Lankadeepa, the revenue licences of the whole of Sri Lanka are to be linked to the Central Province through the new computer application launched for this purpose.
At present, revenue licences can be obtained only from the Divisional Secretariat of the Province where the vehicle has been initially registered. (NewsWire)
