The Department of Meteorology says showers or thundershowers will occur in several areas in the evening or night, with fairly heavy showers above 75 mm likely at some places.
The department said showers or thundershowers may occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, North-western and Northern provinces and Kandy and Nuwara-eliya districts.
