A young British national has been apprehended with over 40 kilos of Kush cannabis at the Katunayake Airport.
According to Sri Lanka Customs, the suspect is a 21-year-old British national.
The youth was arrested after having arrived at the Katunayake Airport from Bangkok, Thailand this morning.
The Sri Lanka Customs said the narcotics, concealed in the suspect’s luggage, were detected by officers at the green channel at the airport. (Newswire)
