Three suspects have been arrested in connection to the double murder that was reported in the Grandpass area last week.
According to the Police, a man and a woman inside a three-wheeler were shot by the suspects, who had arrived on a motorcycle, in front of a housing scheme in Grandpass on July 25.
The Grandpass Police yesterday arrested the shooter, the motorcyclist and another person who had aided the shooting.
The suspects are aged 26, 37, and 45 years old and are residents of Orugodawatte and Wellampitiya.
The Grandpass Police is conducting further investigations. (Newswire)
