A 48-year-old man has been injured after being shot by an unidentified individual in Sedawatte, Wellampitiya.
The Grandpass Police stated that an unidentified individual had shot the victim while he was in front of his residence last night.
Preliminary investigations reveal that the suspect had then fled the area on a bicycle ridden by another person.
The victim, who is a resident of Sedawatte in Wellampitiya, has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.
The Grandpass Police is conducting investigations to apprehend the suspect wanted over the shooting. (NewsWire)
