Sri Lanka’s Tourism Ambassador Sanath Jayasuriya has urged Western Australians to visit Sri Lanka.
The former Sri Lanka cricketer met with the Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Western Australia Rosh Jalagge in Perth today.
The meeting took place ahead of Sri Lanka’s match against Australia in the ongoing T20 World Cup which will get underway in Perth.
In a video message, Sanath Jayasuriya together with Rosh Jalagge urged Western Australians and Sri Lankans living in Western Australia to visit Sri Lanka.
Jayasuriya also extended his gratitude to the Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Western Australia Rosh Jalagge for working free and spending his own money for the welfare of Sri Lankans in Perth, and also for promoting Sri Lanka as a tourist destination for Australians. (NewsWire)
