An individual has died by suicide after hacking to death his two children in the Godigamuwa area in Aranayaka, Police investigations have revealed.
The Police stated that the murdered children are aged 06 and 09 years and it is suspected that the murders may have occurred due to a personal family dispute.
The suspect, a father of two, has been identified as a 33-year-old resident of the area.
The Aranayaka Police is conducting further investigations. (NewsWire)
