A suspect wanted for stealing several property from a meditation center in Mulleriyawa has been arrested by the Mulleriyawa Police on Friday (10).
Police said that the suspect is a 25-year-old resident of Mulleriyawa and he had jumped to the Kelani river while police officers attempted to arrested him. Police officers have arrested him while he swam back ashore.
The Police have recovered several items including brass statues stolen from the meditation center. The suspect is to be produced to the Hulftsdorp magistrate today (11).
