A Bolivian woman was arrested by the officers attached to Narcotics Control Unit at the green channel customs area with 4.6 kg of cocaine concealed in cloth and bag.
Sri Lanka Customs said the narcotics was soaked in the materials of the cloth used for the jackets and cloth bags.
The suspected foreigner had arrived from Brazil via Dubai by the flight EK 650 operated by Emirates.
The suspect was identified as a 26-years-old and this was her first overseas visit, Sri Lanka Customs said.
The value of the narcotics, suspected to be cocaine is estimated at Rs. 230 million.
An investigation is carried out by the customs officers of the narcotics control unit with the assistance of the police narcotics bureau. (NewsWire)
