The Government has decided to not renew the collective agreements entered with trade unions of the Ceylon Electricity Board & Ceylon Petrolium Corporation.
“Collective agreements entered with Trade unions of CEB & CPC for 25% salary increment every 3 years, annual bonuses, allowances & other benefits will not be continued or renewed” Minister Kanchana Wijesekara said.
“I have instructed Secretary to the Min of Power & Energy to commence the process to terminate them” Minister added. (NewsWire)
