The Mannar Police has launched investigations to apprehend two women who had defrauded Rs. 600,000 from an individual promising a job in Qatar.
The Police stated that an investigation has been launched based on a complaint that had been filed at the Mannar Police Station.
According to the complaint, the women are aged over 31 years and are residents of Kayts in Jaffna.
Investigations have revealed that the victim had deposited money to the account of the suspects on multiple occasions and had also handed over the passport to the suspects.
The Mannar Police has launched a probe to arrest the wanted suspects. (NewsWire)
