One of Sri Lanka’s key objectives under the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program is to rebuild the nation’s foreign currency reserves, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) stated.
In a Twitter message, the CBSL stated that the IMF program and Sri Lanka’s reform agenda will work together to balance the economy and keep the external sector in check.
The CBSL further stated that Sri Lanka’s foreign currency reserves increased to US$ 2.69 in March 2023. (NewsWire)
