The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated further against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (May 23), in comparison to yesterday.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has further dropped from Rs. 297.32 to Rs. 297.31, while the selling rate has also reduced from Rs. 314.29 to Rs. 313.30.
At Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 298.90 to Rs. 298.18 and from Rs. 312 to Rs. 310.50, respectively.
As per Sampath Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 300 to Rs. 299, while the selling rate has reduced from Rs. 312 to Rs. 311. (NewsWire)
