The Sri Lankan Rupee has slightly depreciated against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (May 30).
The US Dollar rate which saw a continuous drop over the last week reaching the Rs. 280s range, has slightly depreciated today in comparison to yesterday (May 29).
Accordingly, at Peoples Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 287.09 to Rs. 288.06, while the selling rate has increased from Rs. 302.53 to Rs. 303.55.
At Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 287.03 to Rs. 288.78 and from Rs. 300 to Rs. 301, respectively.
As per Sampath Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 290 to Rs. 291, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 302 to Rs. 303. (NewsWire)
