The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (July 04), following a five-day bank holiday.
At People’s Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from last Wednesday’s rate of Rs. 300.71 to Rs. 299.74 and from Rs. 318.51 to Rs. 317.47.
According to Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 298.90 to Rs. 296.92, while the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 316 to Rs. 315.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar remain unchanged at Rs. 300 and Rs. 315, respectively. (NewsWire)
