The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated slightly against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (July 22) compared to last week.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar are unchanged at Rs. 297.75 and Rs. 307.25, respectively.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 297 to Rs. 296.75 and the selling rate from Rs. 308 to Rs. 307.75.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 298.86 to Rs. 298.12 and from Rs. 309.58 to Rs. 308.82, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar had reduced from Rs. 297.91 to Rs. 297.67 and the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 307.75 to Rs. 307.50.
Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar are unchanged at Rs. 299 and Rs. 308, respectively. (Newswire)
