A total of 13,588 students have obtained 09 ‘A’ passes in the 2022 (2023) GCE Ordinary Level Examination.
Samadhi Anuradha Ranawaka of Mahamaya Girls School in Kandy has become the Island’s first in the examination.
As per the results released yesterday, Aksheiya Ananda Swanand of Vembadi Girls’ High School in Jaffna has been placed second.
Third place has been secured by Haritha Minsandu Alahakoon of Royal College Colombo.
Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha announced that 72.07% of students have qualified to proceed for the GCE Advanced Level. (NewsWire)
