Facebook users have flooded Porsche’s social media platforms with negative comments, following former Minister Rosy Senanayake’s statement that the Porsche SUV she used was “old, damaged, and leaking water.”
Her remarks came after public attention shifted to the luxury vehicle among over 100 government-issued vehicles listed as returned by the former administration.
Addressing the media yesterday, Rosy Senanayake claimed that the said vehicle was imported between 2010- 2011, questioning who imported it.
Stating that the vehicle had not been maintained by the government, she said such vehicles were not suitable for official work.
Usually receiving high praise, Porsche’s social media pages were soon filled with sarcastic reviews mocking the minister’s explanation, sparking widespread online trolling.
