Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was unanimously re-appointed as the Party Leader of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).
MP Mahinda Rajapaksa’s name was proposed by SLPP MP Gamini Lokuge at the party’s National Convention held in Colombo today (Dec 15).
The proposal was seconded by SLPP MP and former minister Johnston Fernando. (NewsWire)
