The overall rate of inflation, as measured by the Colombo Consumer Price Index (CCPI) has increased to 3.4% in November 2023.
According to the Department of Census and Statistics, it is an increase from the 1.5% reported in October 2023.
Meanwhile, Food inflation has also increased to (-3.6)% in November compared to the (-5.2)% recorded in October.
Non-food inflation has also increased to 6.8% in November from the 4.9% reported in October this year.
