A 64-year-old man has been apprehended on charges of financially defrauding the public by promising jobs in Australia.
The Police said the man, who had defrauded Rs. 01 million from the public, had been arrested based on a tip-off received by the Moratuwa Police.
The arrested suspect is a 64-year-old resident of the Gampaha area. The Moratuwa Police is conducting investigations. (Newswire)
