National Peoples Power (NPP) Leader MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake has sent a Letter of Demand (LOD) to Parliamentarian Tissa Kuttiarachchi over a recent statement made by the latter.
MP Dissanayake has sought compensation of Rs. 10 billion over the statement which he claims has caused insult to him.
The Letter of Demand has been sent over a statement made by MP Kuttiarachchi during a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna public meeting in Central Colombo on Saturday (Aug. 19).
In his statement, MP Kuttiarachchi alleged that the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) leader had invested money in Malta. (NewsWire)
