Minister Manusha Nanayakkara today disclosed information gathered by the Ministerial committee appointed by President Ranil Wickremesinghe concerning Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).
The committee, assigned by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, engaged with various stakeholders of Sri Lanka Cricket, including Sri Lankan cricketers.
Addressing the Parliament, the minister discussed issues related to Sri Lanka Cricket’s governing structure, concerns within the Sports Ministry, and the coaching of Sri Lankan cricketers.
The minister highlighted that the committee received feedback from various groups indicating that the Sri Lankan Cricket High-Performance Center is not functioning optimally, and players are dissatisfied with the skills training provided to them. (NewsWire)
