Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting incident near the Devinuwara Dewalaya in Gandara on 21 March, in which two men, aged 28 and 29, were killed.
According to the Police, the suspects had been arrested after surrendering to the Gandara Police via their lawyers yesterday.
The arrested suspects are aged 26 and 35 years, and are residents of Gandara and Devinuwara.
They were arrested in connection with the murders of two men, aged 28 and 29, near the Devinuwara Dewalaya in Gandara. The victims were travelling on a motorbike when they were pursued by unidentified individuals in a van.
The assailants reportedly collided with the motorbike, shot the victims, and fled the scene, after which they set fire to the van some distance away before escaping. (Newswire)
