The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) is awaiting a decision from former President and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on whether he will contest the upcoming Parliamentary election.
SLPP General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam told reporters that the party is expecting Rajapaksa to make his decision within the next few days and will act accordingly once it is announced. (Newswire)
