Dollar rate in Sri Lanka today

The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated further against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Aug 22) compared to Wednesday.

According to Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 293.40 to Rs. 295.75, while the selling rate has increased from Rs. 302.40 to Rs. 303.25, respectively.

At NDB bank, the buying and the selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 295.85 to Rs. 296.50 and from Rs. 303.85 to Rs. 304.50, respectively.

According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 294.44 to Rs. 294.93 and from Rs. 305.00 to Rs. 305.51, respectively.

At Commercial Bank, the buying has increased from Rs. 294.69 to Rs. 294.69, while the selling rate is unchanged at Rs. 304.50.

According to Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 295 to Rs. 296 and from Rs. 304 to Rs. 305, respectively. (Newswire)
