President Ranil Wickremesinghe emphasized that the forthcoming presidential election will be pivotal for the country’s future, rather than just a matter of personal victories or defeats, the President’s Media Division said.

The President made these remarks addressing youth representatives from the Economic Reforms Sectoral Monitoring Committee, at a policy reform discussion held at the Battaramulla Water’s Edge Hotel.
The President pointed out that current promises made by various individuals lack a solid plan to advance the nation’s economy.
President Wickremesinghe, calling on all parties to support his government’s Economic Transformation Bill, stressed the importance of not repeating past mistakes during elections by focusing solely on individual candidates. (Newswire)
