Sri Lanka issues Travel Advisory for Lebanon and Syria

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a travel advisory urging all Sri Lankan nationals to refrain from traveling to Lebanon and Syria until further notice due to the volatile situation in the region.

The ministry has also requested all Sri Lankans currently residing in Lebanon and Syria to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.

This includes limiting movements outdoors and maintaining regular communication with the Sri Lankan Embassy in Beirut and the Honorary Consul in Damascus.
