MP Namal Rajapaksa has been summoned to the Colombo High Court on February 18 over the alleged misappropriation of Rs. 70 million related to the ‘Krrish deal.’
The Attorney General’s Department has filed an indictment in the High Court against Namal Rajapaksa, Member of Parliament and son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, over his alleged involvement in the controversial Krish project.
The case revolves around accusations of financial misconduct and irregularities linked to the Indian real estate company Krish Group’s investments in Sri Lanka during the previous Rajapaksa regime. (Newswire)
