Rukman Senanayake, the grandson of Sri Lanka’s first Prime Minister D.S. Senanayake and a former Cabinet Minister, passed away today at the age of 76. A senior member of the United National Party (UNP), Senanayake served in various ministerial roles throughout his political career.
