Dollar rate in Sri Lanka today

The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (July 02) compared to Monday, with the Dollar rate dropping below the Rs. 300 rate at some banks.

According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 299.75 to Rs. 299 and from Rs. 309.25 to Rs. 308.50, respectively.

At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 299.10 to Rs. 298 and the selling rate from Rs. 310.10 to Rs. 309.

According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 300.47 to Rs. 299.49 and from Rs. 310.65 to Rs. 309.63, respectively.

At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 300.11 to Rs. 299.11, while the selling rate has also reduced from Rs. 310 to Rs. 309.

Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 301.50 to Rs. 300.50 and from Rs. 310.50 to Rs. 309.50, respectively. (Newswire)
