Eight (08) vehicles belonging to drug dealers have been seized during the islandwide special operations carried out by the Police over the last few days.
Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deshabandu Tennakoon said the vehicles are valued at Rs. 68 million.
He further said they were taken into the custody of the Illegal Properties or Assets Investigation Division of the Police.
Over 4000 suspects have been apprehended in the special operations conducted over the last two days.
The Police have also seized large stocks of narcotics, including heroin, cannabis, and ICE. (NewsWire)
