A UAE-based Sri Lankan company has carried out the world’s first conversion of a Cadillac Escalade to a right-hand drive.
The successful conversion was made for the first time in the world by Global Conversions which specialized in automobile re-engineering.
Based in Ras Al-Khaimah, UAE, the Sri Lankan company is known for specializing in converting left-hand drive US brands like GMC, Ford, Lincoln, Dodge, Chevrolet, Cadillac and US-made Toyota and Nissan vehicles to right-hand drive.
The latest conversion follows the company’s first successful conversion of the Hummer EV SUV to right-hand drive in March this year.

Commenting on the latest conversion of a Cadillac Escalade to right-hand drive, Founder & Chairman of Global Conversions, Suresh Edirisinghe told Newswire that the vehicle was converted for a customer from Australia.
