The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has warned the public of an employment scam carried out using the information of the bureau’s officials.
The SLBFE said it has found that the financial scam offers employment opportunities in Israel.
Photos of SLBFE officials, taken from the bureau’s Facebook page, are being used to create fake WhatsApp links, the SLBFE revealed.
Urging the public to be vigilant, the SLBFE requested the public to report such scams via the SLBFE’s hotline 1989 or WhatsApp at 071 759 35 93. (Newswire)
