Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) K.B. Manathunga has been appointed as the new Police Media Spokesman and the Director of the Police Media Division.
SSP Manathunga earlier served as the SSP in charge of the Kantale Division.
His promotion is part of the transfers of a total of 54 Police officers by the National Police Commission.
Meanwhile, former Police Spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa will continue in his capacity as the DIG of Crimes Range. (Newswire)
