Sri Lanka A all-rounder Sonal Dinusha has reportedly been named in the 17-member preliminary squad for Sri Lanka’s upcoming series against Australia.
Dinusha has been in strong form, scoring back-to-back centuries in the recent club tournament and delivering consistent performances during Sri Lanka A’s tour of Pakistan.
The 24-year-old spinner holds a bowling average of 23 and a first-class batting average of 40.
Reports indicate Dinusha will be the only new addition to the squad for the two-Test series against Australia.
Pathum Nissanka has been included, pending a fitness assessment. If unavailable, Oshada Fernando is expected to replace him. (Newswire)
