The Sri Lankan Rupee has dropped below the Rs. 300 rate at some private banks in Sri Lanka today (Mar 14), compared to yesterday.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 300.41 to Rs. 299.91, while the selling rate has dropped from Rs. 309.75 to Rs. 309.25.
According to NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar is Rs. 298.75, while the selling rate is Rs. 309.75.
However, at Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar remain in the Rs. 300 range, with the buying rate at Rs. 300.08 and the selling rate at Rs. 310.54.
The Dollar also remains in the Rs. 300 range at Sampath Bank, with the buying rate at Rs. 301 and the selling rate at Rs. 310. (NewsWire)
