Wasantha Handapangoda, a trade union activist of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has passed away. She died in the United Kingdom due to a sudden illness while visiting her daughter. Handapangoda was a former chairperson of the SLPP Teachers’ Union. (Newswire) 2024-12-25
