Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) has issued a circular increasing the reward money for police personnel engaged in traffic duty by 25%, effective from February 1.
According to the Police, the decision aims to recognize and incentivize the efforts of traffic officers in maintaining road safety and enforcing regulations.
