The Department of Meteorology has issued a heat index advisory for some places in the North-Central and Eastern provinces.
According to the advisory, the Heat index, the temperature felt on the human body, is expected to increase up to a ‘Caution’ level at some places in the two provinces.
The Met Department warned that fatigue is possible with prolonged exposure and activity while continuing activity could result in heat stroke. (NewsWire)
