The residence of suspended Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deshabandu Tennakoon in Hokandara was inspected this evening (18) by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
According to CID officials, the inspection was carried out as part of an ongoing investigation into several questionable items found at the premises.
Meanwhile, six special teams are currently engaged in the search for the missing IGP, who has been wanted by the police for nearly three weeks. (NewsWire)
