Two suspects have been arrested in the Madampe area for the robbery of motorcycles.
The Police said the suspects aged 27 and 31 years old were arrested at the Galhitiya Junction and Issanmadilla area based on a tip-off.
Interrogations of the suspect had led to the Police finding two motorcycles that had been stolen from the Hettipola and Kuliyapitiya areas, as well as one motorcycle without a number plate.
The suspects were arrested as part of the Sri Lanka Police’s ongoing operations to curtail crimes and drug operations in the country. (Newswire)
