Former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte who was arrested over a road accident in Colpetty recently has been released on bail.
Ratwatte was arrested for causing an accident while driving under the influence of alcohol and is also accused of having shouted and threatened those at the scene.
After being produced before the Fort Magistrate’s Court today, Ratwatte extended an apology in open court for his actions.
The court then released Ratwatte on two sureties of Rs. 01 million each. (Newswire)
