The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated significantly against the US Dollar today (Jan 08), compared to Tuesday.
According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the buying rate of the US Dollar has reduced from Rs. 291.32 to Rs. 286.46, but the selling rate has increased from Rs. 299.92 to Rs. 300.52.
The Sri Lankan Rupee has largely appreciated against a basket of foreign currencies, while it has depreciated against Gulf currencies. (Newswire)
