Sri Lanka’s Official reserves edge up slightly in February

Sri Lanka’s official reserve assets saw a marginal increase of 0.5% in February 2025, reaching USD 6.095 billion compared to USD 6.065 billion in January. According to the latest data, foreign currency reserves stood at USD 6.031 billion, while gold reserves rose slightly to USD 43 million. The reserve position in the IMF and SDR holdings remained relatively unchanged.
