The Police have sought public assistance to find an Additional Administrative Forest Officer attached to the Puttalam District Wildlife Office who has been reported missing since May 2017.
The Attanagalla Magistrate’s Court had been informed that an investigation was launched following a complaint filed by the forest officer’s wife with the Nittambuwa Police on 30 May 2017.
However, following a complaint being filed with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) on 17 November 2023, further investigations have been launched to find the missing man.
The CID has sought help from the public to find the 47-year-old man who is a resident of Nittambuwa. (Newswire)
