Leader of the National Peoples Power (NPP) MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake alleges that President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s campaign has hired advertising agencies to create propaganda against the NPP.
Addressing a public rally, MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake said the President’s campaign has hired three prominent advertising agencies for this purpose.
He further said that the agencies have been tasked with targeting the NPP/ Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) citing incidents of the 1983 and 1989 riots, and the May 09 incident in 2022.
MP Dissanayake said that the matter had come to light after one such requirement had been handed over to an individual linked to the NPP camp.
He further accused President Ranil Wickremesinghe of attempting to create an unstable environment by highlighting past incidents in Sri Lanka to gain power. (NewsWire)
